Looking for inspiration, but love putting your hands in the soil? No problem! We offer design services, complete with planting and maintenance instructions, information on how and where to source plants locally, and visual guides that will make planting a breeze so that even the most novice gardener can feel like an expert.
Love home-grown, but hate to get your hands dirty? We've got you covered! We offer complete maintenance services from monthly and bi-weekly weeding, trimming, harvesting and de-budding, disease and pest diagnosis and treatment, seasonal organic fertilization, mowing, natural and organic lawn care, leaf relocation and removal, and everything in between.
We also offer custom irrigation systems for every budget, so that even watering the garden can be a breeze.

Water is life! Here in the midwest, where seasonal rainfall is inconsistent and a hot summer is the only predictable weather phenom...every drop counts.
Inconsistent or improper watering (especially during the drought season!) is the biggest challenge to establishing a thriving garden...that's why we want to make the task of watering as simple and accessible as possible.
In addition to utilizing water-preserving permaculture-based planting techniques, and offering land-grading services to help move surface water where you need it most, we also offer sprinkler and drip-line irrigation design and installation services. We can utilize any water source, from traditional spigots, to ponds, and even custom water barrel systems. Water is our most vital resource, and we are here to help ensure that none of yours goes to waste.
Creative Construction, Outdoor Living, & Hardscapes
From outdoor kitchens, custom fountains, ponds, and firepits, stonework, concrete, and rock paths, treehouses, pergolas, retaining walls, to fences, decks, barns, and greenhouses: we are your one-stop shop for mindful outdoor living.
In addition to utilizing new materials, we are also no strangers to repurposing materials and love to embrace each clients creativity and vision...regardless of how unique or abstract it may be! Feeling low on creativity, but looking for something extra special? Have no fear, we offer design services and we've got inspiration to spare.
Because we are so committed to client satisfaction, we are hands-on in our approach and stay on-site for all construction, completing most projects ourselves or with a handful of team members. No matter the size of the project, we will be available to answer questions or offer assistance.
Indoor Customs, Home Repair, & Remodels
From drywall, painting, wallpaper, flooring, and mosaic/tile...to fixtures, plumbing, and electrical work...as well as cabinet and bookcase fabrication, custom murals, and complete home additions (including foundation/footers): there are very few projects we cannot execute with mindfulness, artistry, and care. In addition to complete renovations, we also offer handyman services and general home repair and maintenance.
Some of our more recent unique large projects include a 2,000 sq. ft complete custom sprung dance floor, an uninsulated garage-to-art-studio complete interior remodel, and a complete interior remodel of a 2,800 sq ft retail space with custom built-ins and hidden storage.
While we love to tackle a challenge, we are no strangers to small home repair and love assisting alleviating the pressure of small tasks such as door-knob replacement, shelf-installation, drywall patches, etc. Honey-do list getting overwhelming? We are happy to take those pesky little tasks off your plate and off your mind.

That's why we strive to cultivate respectful and collaborative connections with our customers prior to beginning the work. Here at Mindful Restoration, we absolutely love empowering our clients to get to know their landscapes in a hands-on way. While we do offer full monthly maintenance services, we recognize that the daily care and attention from the person who lives on and nurtures their own land is truly invaluable. That's why we offer personalized consultation services to help you create and maintain your own edible, herb, and flower gardens...right in your own backyard! No matter the size of your space...whether you're working with a standard city lot, or fifty acres of forest or farmland...we'd love the opportunity to assist you in stewarding, managing, and maintaining your little slice of heaven. We can offer guidance through every step, from design and initial planting, to seasonal care, to crop rotation and troubleshooting pest or disease issues, ensuring your garden thrives year-round. We can also help identify existing beneficial and non-beneficial plants on your property and provide insights into their uses, as well as permaculture-based landwise solutions to issues such as erosion, insufficient drainage, and irrigation. Our consultations include visual guides, detailed maintenance instructions, and lists of beneficial and native plants, tailored to your region.
